Too Faced Lip Injections Color Bomb!

I was skeptical at first. Could the Too Faced Lip Injections Color Bomb stack up against the ever expanding orgy of lip crayons?

Not only are they loaded with Vitamins A, C, E, and mango butter to keep your lips hydrated, they are also formulated with a tingling limp plumper for an ultra sexy pout!

Lip Injection pros:
exclusive color
moisturizing
slight plumping effect
yummy berry scent
satiny
lasts for hours
easy to apply
build-able color

Lip Injection cons:
tingling sensation (may be too much for sensitive lips)

BETTER THAN SEX!
...well, not quite, but still a darn good mascara!

Rimmel London Scandaleyes Mascara

Many mascaras claim to create that wide eyed, false lash, clump free look; but very few deliver. When I was given the opportunity to asses Rimmel London Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara, I figured it would become another wand in my personal mascara graveyard. I was terribly wrong. I could not be more impressed with this formula.

I love the mod look of the packaging. The mascara wand itself emulates a curvy woman with an hourglass figure and creates that va-va-voom volume to my lashes without clumping or creating spider lashes.

For this natural everyday look I applied just one coat to my upper and lower lashes.

With this more intense retro inspired dramatic look I applied 2-3 coats on my top lashes and 1 coat on my bottom lashes.

Quick tip: Instead of wiping excess mascara on the tube, I wipe it off on tissue paper for a more flawless application.

Be sure to keep an eye out, the new Rimmel London Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara hits shelves November 2013!

PRO'S:
holds a curl
doesn't smudge
long wearing
lengthens
thickens
doesn't flake
wand shape

CON'S:
none

Make Up or Break Up? Revlon Colorstay Aqua Mineral Makeup.

I am still searching for the one.  So when I spotted Revlon Colorstay Aqua Mineral Makeup I thought this could be it.

Revlon Colorstay Aqua Mineral Makeup comes in 5 shades from fair to deep. (I picked up fair)

On the top is a small foundation brush, while soft it wouldn't be my first, second, or third choice.

Swatched on my hand I saw nothing but hints of glitter.

What the heck is glitter doing in foundation? I am not a pretty, pretty, princess playing dress up! I don't think he gets me.

Just as I thought, we were not getting on. Halfway through application I tried my flat kabuki brush, which worked better, but no match was made.

The Pro's:
Refreshing water effect (as if you were spritzing cool water on your face)
Weightless
No scent

The Con's:
Sparkles. Again WTH?
Splotchy Coverage
Poor Color Selection
Does not blend
Minimal Coverage
Messy

Maybe I need to get to know the formula and how to "properly" use this powder, but why would I want to when there are so many other products that I click with right away?
