There has been a lot of talk about Mr. Wonderful; how he brings out your exuberant, youthful glow, and erases your flaws!
And here he is:
Marc Jacobs Genius Gel Super Charged Foundation in Bisque Medium.
The minimalistic, and sophisticated packaging drew me in, but the easy to use pump dispenser sealed the deal. My infatuation dwindled quickly when I noticed the semi-strong perfume scent.

The minimalistic, and sophisticated packaging drew me in, but the easy to use pump dispenser sealed the deal. My infatuation dwindled quickly when I noticed the semi-strong perfume scent.
I was color matched at Sephora, but this looks very orange...
As always when testing, I did not use primer, concealer, or any touch up products. When I used a flat top kabuki brush, a stippling brush, and my fingers, I was left with patchy coverage that was cakey. The best application comes from a liquid foundation brush.
The coverage is light to medium, build-able and does a good job of evening out my skin.
The color looks a little orange, but it does oxidize into a more natural color in a few minutes.
4 hours Later....
More natural looking color, but you can already see some areas breaking up.
More of the foundation has worn off and broken up, leaving my t-zone greasy feeling and blotchy.
Pro's:
sleek packaging
build-able coverage
pump dispenser
conceals pores
Con's:
perfume scent
irritates my eyes
splotchy
transfers easily
wears off quickly
My eyes burn and itch every time I used this foundation, which is just annoying. I also do not like that there is a fragrance added, while I didn't notice any break outs I still worry what it would do to my skin after long term use.
Break Up!
